Giving back

Giving back to our community program.

At Bridge Knowledge, we believe in giving back to the communities we live and work in and that paying it forward makes the world go around.

Bridge Knowledge is often asked for donations and sponsorships; however, we cannot help everyone. So rather than adopting an ad-hoc approach, we have formalised an ongoing process where we can give back through registered charities and not-for-profit organisations (charities) operating within our clients’ communities.

We aim to collectively donate as much as possible over the next 12 months and beyond to benefit our chosen charities. And our team has high expectations regarding what we would like to donate.

This initiative is fully funded by Bridge Knowledge and does not result in any increase in prices.

How it works:

  1. Our Team nominates their favourite two charities each year.
  2. Bridge Knowledge donates a percentage of profits to these charities.
  3. We will also respond to appeals to assist our communities impacted by drought, fire, and flood.
  4. All clients who engage us for a fee above $20,000, excluding GST, get to choose whether to support one of the team-nominated charities or select their favourite. We then split the donation amount equally between the two team-nominated charities if no nomination is given.
  5. Each quarter, we split the donations pool between the chosen charities for that quarter.

Our chosen charities for 2022/23 are:

WestPac Helicopter Rescue_400x400

This service is critical to providing Regional communities with

    • early intervention and stabilisation
    •  rapid transport during medical emergencies and, in particular, when patients are hard to access, their condition is time critical or if they cannot be accessed by ground based emergency services.

We have chosen this charity due to their critical work in regional areas and our Team’s personal experience with the service’s response to medical emergencies

1 in 7 women in Australia will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

Breast Cancer Trials (BCT) is a group of world-leading breast cancer doctors and researchers based in Australia and New Zealand with a commitment to exploring and finding better treatments for people affected by breast cancer through clinical trials research.

We have chosen this charity due to the excellent scientific work that is improving the treatment of breast cancer.
